iExec Enterprise Essentials is a Cisco-branded leadership and management workshop developed by Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) for the Emerging Markets and is designed to help learners examine their organization’s internal and external situation, identify and prioritize opportunities, and develop business cases to support process improvements using the Internet and IT. This workshop was based, in part, on the successful IBSG's iExec Program in China, India, Japan, Korea and Singapore. This workshop was revised and updated in 2007 by IBSG in partnership with the Egyptian E-Learning Competence Center and Accenture Development Program, following deployments in Egypt, Ethiopia, Dominican Republic, Poland, Saudi Arabia and Serbia. Governments are realizing that connectivity can radically enhance and even transform the multiple facets of 21st century governance. The iExec Public Sector Essentials workshop is a leadership and management Cisco branded course. The main objective of the workshop is to demonstrate the value of ICT solutions to non-IT managers and leaders in the public sector. The workshop is specifically designed to empower leaders and “agents of change” by equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to create a lasting business impact within their organization. In this workshop, public sector is defined as industries and segments that are wholly or partially funded by governments at the national, regional, or local level. Rather than focus on business plans and balance sheets, you’ll examine the world through the eyes of real-world entrepreneurs, who will tell you, often in their own words, how they think, how they are able to recognize opportunities, and the mindset that enabled them to transform those opportunities into successful new ventures. Through their stories we will unravel the mysteries and explore the realities of what it really takes to start and grow a successful new business.
The course can be either facilitator-led or self-directed. Smart Technology for a Smarter Business™
Smart Technology for a Smarter Business™ (SMART) is a highly practical training curriculum that enables the small business owner or manager to build a smarter business with technology. Developed under a US$1.5 million sponsorship by HP, SMART builds on industry research and experience to provide training that addresses the specific challenges and opportunities faced by small businesses around the world. It is modular and flexible, allowing trainers to use, and optionally customize, the program to suit your specific needs. Problems and solutions are brought to life using virtual case studies, enabling participants to truly connect with and gain practical skills from the learning experience.

Computer Literacy is an on-line course designed to provide an introduction to general computer hardware and software knowledge and skills. Topics include basic networking, the Internet, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and Web design. Career Essentials
The Career Essentials course is a comprehensive, step-by-step guide for workforce preparation. Topics include skill testing, creating a resume, and finding a job that best suits a person’s skills, background, and personality. Anchored by field-tested methodologies and enhanced with a dynamic interface, each course module presents an application or skill necessary for successfully finding and keeping a job. The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute has collaborated with YouAchieve Inc. to offer a collection of 5 Minute Articles written by subject matter experts in ten key areas of business development and management. Through these ten on demand courses, Cisco Entrepreneur Institute participants can access information on communication, customer service, financial management, general business skills, leadership, management, marketing, personal effectiveness, sales and technology. GoVenture Educational Games and Simulations
Like flight simulators for business, GoVenture educational games and simulations enable learners to gain business experience, risk-free, in a realistic and engaging virtual environment. GoVenture programs are suitable for youth and adults, for self-directed or facilitated training, and cover topics in business and entrepreneurship, investment and personal finance, and career and life skills. The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute has established a partnership with MediaSpark Inc to provide GoVenture educational games and simulations to Cisco Institutes at significantly reduced prices.
